Join the Conservation Council of New Brunswick December 7th, 1 p.m. to learn how trust, fairness and community benefits combined to undermine community acceptance of two wind energy projects proposed for Northern New Brunswick.

Dr. Louise Comeau, Director of Climate Solutions, and Louis-Charles Vaillancourt, researcher, will share the results of a year-long case study of the factors influencing social and community acceptance of renewable energy. Our latest case study, features interviews with residents of Anse-Bleue and Pokeshaw, N.B., the locations for two wind projects approved by N.B. Power under its Locally Owned Renewable Energy Projects that are Small Scale (LORESS) Program, but that did not proceed.

This webinar will share recommendations on how to increase the chances of success for renewable energy projects.
