BAIE is extending the summer with the October 7, 2022, release of a first album entitled “Grand Bleu”. And to mark the occasion, the band is offering two big shows. The shows with elaborate sets, sound and lighting will be presented on Friday, October 7, 2022, at the Caraquet Cultural Centre and on Saturday, October 8, 2022, at the Capitol Theatre inMoncton.

BAIE is composed of Chloé Breault (bass and vocals), Matt Boudreau (keyboards, guitars, and vocals), and Marc-André Boudreau (electric guitar and vocals). The trio will be joined on stage during the big launch shows by drummer Maxence Cormier(Les Hôtesses d’Hilaire), guitarist Mico Roy (Les Hôtesses d’Hilaire), and the two backup singers Katrine Noël (Les Hay Babies) and Tanya Brideau (actor, musician). The show will be directed by Matthieu Girard.

An album to be released on October 7

It is in the fresh and invigorating air of pop and disco music that the group sails on waves of surf rock. This project is a way for these artists to get away from their respective individual projects and produce a different sound, while experimenting with innovative musical ideas that they do not use in their solo careers. This 11-track album, to be released by Le Grenier musique, was recorded at Studio la Grosse Rose in Dorchester NB, thanks in part to the support of Musicaction and Musique NB. It will be available on all digital platforms as well as in CD format on October 7th, and in a few months on vinyl. First single here: https://hypeddit.com/baieband/single1
