A man has been charged with manslaughter and two other people are facing charges in connection with the death of a 27-year-old woman in Saint John nearly five years ago, according to police.

Courtney MacKenzie, the mother of a young son, was last seen on May 2, 2021, and was reported missing to police on May 8. Her body was discovered three days later at a multi-unit residence on Victoria Street in the city’s north end.

Her death was deemed “suspicious,” but her cause of death has never been released.
