The New Brunswick RCMP say two separate crashes in different parts of the province killed two people on Sunday.
In a Monday news release, RCMP said a 56-year-old man from Burtt’s Corner, west of Fredericton, was killed in a side-by-side crash.
It said officers from the Keswick RCMP detachment responded around 7:40 a.m. on Sunday to a side-by-side crash on Valley Forest Road near Route 104 in Upper Hainesville.
The release said police believe the driver, who was the only occupant of the side-by-side, lost control of the vehicle. He died at the scene from his injuries, the release said, and an autopsy will be conducted.
In a separate news release on Monday, the RCMP said a 19-year-old woman from Riverview died in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash near Moncton.
