New Brunswick is still under an Environment Canada weather warning as of early Monday morning.
Southwestern and northeastern New Brunswick could still expect up to 25 centimetres of snow before it finishes falling later Monday morning.
Southeastern New Brunswick was upgraded to a winter storm warning, meaning it could see an additional 10 centimetres, as well as visibility near zero from the combination of fresh snow and high winds, the warning says.
Some northern regions won’t see the same level of snowfall, but still have warnings in place for extreme cold. Campbellton and the eastern part of Restigouche County can expect temperatures to drop to as low as -40 Monday night into Tuesday morning.
Several roads, according to the province’s 511, show snow-covered conditions, with travel not recommended on some key routes.
