This one is a classic track & field staple!
Under the supervision of a personal trainer, start standing behind a line with your feet shoulder-width apart. Bend at the knees, extending your arms behind your torso. Explode into the air, pushing off the toes, and swing your arms forward and straight up above your head. Jump as high and as far forward as you can, landing in a squat position. Each participant gets a practice jump before each attempt and a total of two attempts a month.
A special shout out to Anton Starke! Anton was the winner of our October fitness challenge! The challenge was a 200 metre row for time. Anton blew everyone out of the water with doing the 200m row in 34.7 seconds! Way to go Anton!
