Three people have died following a collision between a sedan and a transport truck Thursday evening on Highway 11 near Dalhousie in northern New Brunswick.
Sgt. Rejean Richard is in charge of operations at the RCMP Campbellton detachment and confirmed police, the Belledune Fire Department, and Ambulance New Brunswick responded to the collision around 7 p.m. on Jan. 8.
Richard said the collision happened near the Black Point area.
According to police, the 25-year-old driver of the sedan and two passengers, an 18-year-old and 27-year-old, died at the scene as a result of their injuries.
Richard said the transport truck driver was transported to hospital and later released.
