Even though the annual event was twice postponed due to poor weather, with cancellation altogether a possibility if the weather on Sunday July 30th didn’t cooperate, the day broke sunny and nearly cloudless. The sand sculptures were on!
The crowds came out, the sculptures took shape, the Nature Conservatory canoes boarded passenger/paddlers, party boats and jet skis partied and jetted. Perfect! Again.
And some sculptures captured the imagination of young and old. Certainly in the case of this young visitor and the captioned sculpture of Hank and Dory.
If you’re wondering who Hank and Dory are, visit Disney to find out.
Then hungry from the day, a BBQ veggie burger was the perfect choice. (Unfortunately hunger overtook the opportunity for a pre-bite snapshot.)
As the wonderful day came to a close a fabulous visitor sampled the flowers and revellers revelled long into the night. Beauty everywhere. Still perfect!
