Yesterday I was doing the usual. Sitting at home after work and browsing cars on Kijiji, when something caught my eye!
Sitting in front of me on my computer screen was a rare Kijiji find indeed. To make things even more interesting it was where the car was located as well.
What I found was a beautiful 2008 red Maserati Gran Turismo Coupe in Moncton, New Brunswick. This was the first time I had ever run into a Maserati, let alone a car of that caliber on Kijiji in New Brunswick.
Now, with that being said, it is true that Maserati’s aren’t necessarily as rare as some other super cars one might see, even around New Brunswick, and there are about 50 Maserati’s on Kijiji across Canada, but still. This car caught me off guard last night when I was on Kijiji so I thought I would make a post about this awesome find!
Maserati Gran Turismo specs:
Engine: 4.2 Litre V8
Drive Train: Real Wheel Drive
Power: 405 Horse Power @ 7100 RPM, 339 pound-feet of torque @ 4750 RPM
0-60 Miles-per-hour (0-100 Kilometres-per-hour): 5.1 Seconds
Max Speed: 177 Miles-per-hour (283 Kilometres-per-hour)
Fuel Economy: Not good, but who cares it’s a Maserati!
And yes, it has a back seat which can actually fit people.
This car is the definition of luxury sports car.
This is when I have to be honest with you, I have never seem a Maserati in real-life, and the nicest car I have ever driven was a 2011 Infiniti G37 Coupe in 2011, when I had to move it 10-feet so another car could park next to it.
So, is this a car review? Kind of and kind of not. This is a weekly post about cars I run into on Kijiji (which will primarily consist of cars in New Brunswick)! Partly inspired by this Maserati I found in Moncton, New Brunswick, and another car I found in Ontario a few weeks back, but has since been taken down.
Also, as a warning, I am sure I won’t get the opportunity to review cars like the Maserati every week. Honestly the cars I find could have something that jumps out to me, either a modification or a paint job, or just because I can’t find anything interesting that week on Kijiji (so we might see some, “kind of,” reviews on a Ford Focus or two! A car I have driven more than 10-feet BTW.)
I go on Kijiji approximately about 15 times a day because I get bored and because I like seeing what cars are in New Brunswick/ Canada. I decided I would put it into a weekly story post/blog thingy. I will stay dedicated to this for at least…until the end of July. So stay tuned! Who knows, occasionally I might even be able to drive the cars for a test run (but probably not.)
